When you first started out, were you told to draft your warm list and hit on them (family, friends, work colleagues), that's desperate, and it's a fast way to get those people turned off and avoiding you. Sure if you're really lucky you may have a few people on that list who are fired up and ready to do whatever it takes, but in all honesty, aren't there far more people on that list who switch off as soon as you start talking about your opportunity?
